Cascades Park/Capital City Amphitheater
This 24-acre downtown park includes Florida’s Prime Meridian marker, Capital City Amphitheater, multi-use trails, an interactive water fountain, Discovery playscape, numerous historical markers and spirit houses that are a commemoration to Smokey Hollow, an area that was once a thriving black community.
Morcom Aquatic Center
A $10.5 million facility, located off-campus next to the Don Veller Seminole Golf Course, includes 30 practice lanes and maintains a temperature of 80 degrees. The diving well features two one-meter and two three-meter springboards as well as one, three, five, seven-and-a-half and 10 meter platforms. It has hosted USA Diving World Championship Syncro Trials 2014, ATT USA Diving National Diving Championships 2009, USA Diving World Championship Team Trials 2013, USA Diving Senior Zone B Championship 2012, USA Diving Masters Spring National Championships 2011, Women's Collegiate Club Water Polo National Championships 2012
22nd Floor of Capitol Observatory and Gallery
Enjoy panoramic views of Tallahassee and the surrounding landscape from the 22nd floor observatory which also includes a gallery displaying works by many of the Florida’s most prominent artists.
Camp Gordon Johnston WWII Museum
Once an operating training facility – it served as an amphibious training base for nearly 30,000 soldiers between 1941 and 1946 – it is now a museum housing more than 5,000 square feet of artifacts, vehicles, photos, memorabilia and films documenting the sacrifices and achievements of the World War II era.
Taylor House Museum of Historic Frenchtown
Built in 1894 by Lewis W. Taylor, a community educator and leader. Today, the home is listed on the National Register of Historic Places serves as a museum of African-American History, culture and civil rights.
