Pumpkin Patches Near Tallahassee: Farms, Hayrides & Fall Fun!
Fall in Tallahassee may not come with piles of colorful leaves and sweater weather in September, but we can still do pumpkins, corn mazes and hayrides with the best of them!
If you’re looking for pumpkin patches near Tallahassee, there are several farms and seasonal patches within an easy drive where you can pick out the perfect pumpkin and turn it into a full fall outing. Some are traditional pumpkin patches, while others go all-out with corn mazes, farm animals, hayrides and activities for the kids.
Here are some of our favorite places for pumpkin patches and fall fun around Tallahassee. Since these are seasonal, always check the individual listing before you head out for current dates, hours and admission.
Aunt Louise’s Farm
Worth the drive for: The full fall farm experience.
Aunt Louise’s Farm in Monticello is one of the best choices if you want more than simply picking out a pumpkin. Their Fall Farm Days turn the farm into a full family outing with a corn maze, wagon rides, barrel train rides, a corn pit, rubber duck races and lots of farm animals. They also have pumpkins for sale along with concessions and seasonal treats.
For 2026, Fall Farm Days run weekends from October 3 through November 15. This is a particularly good pick for families with younger kids because there’s enough going on to spend several hours at the farm rather than making a quick pumpkin stop.
Spring Hill Tree Farm
Worth the drive for: A ridiculous amount of stuff for the kids to do.
Spring Hill Tree Farm in Bainbridge is another place where the pumpkin patch is really just the beginning. Their Fall Family Fun weekends include a pumpkin patch, corn maze, unlimited hayrides, bounce houses, pig races, a kids’ train, corn pool, mini golf, rubber duck races and more.
The 2026 fall season runs weekends from September 26 through November 1. There’s even a Haunted Corn Maze on October 30 and 31 if your kids have graduated from cute pumpkins to wanting something a little scarier.
Christ Presbyterian Pumpkin Patch
Best for: A pumpkin stop without making a big road trip out of it.
If you’d rather stay closer to home, Christ Presbyterian Church on Bannerman Road is one to watch during pumpkin season. Church pumpkin patches are perfect when you don’t necessarily need an entire day at a farm — you just want to let the kids wander through the pumpkins, take some fall pictures and pick one to bring home.
The church also hosts seasonal fall activities, so check the listing for this year’s pumpkin patch and event details before heading over.
Havana PumpkinFest
Best for: Turning pumpkin season into a whole day in Havana.
Havana PumpkinFest isn’t a traditional farm pumpkin patch, but it’s absolutely worth including if you’re looking for fall fun near Tallahassee. Downtown Havana fills up with children’s activities, pumpkin painting, a pie-eating contest, costume and scarecrow contests, food, live entertainment and more than 100 vendors.
The 2026 Havana PumpkinFest is scheduled for Saturday, October 10 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. It’s a fun excuse to make the short drive north, enjoy the festival and spend some time wandering around downtown Havana while you’re there.
First Presbyterian Church Pumpkin Patch
Best for: A simple local pumpkin-picking tradition.
You don’t always need a corn maze and 15 different activities to have fun at a pumpkin patch. A church pumpkin patch can be just as much fun, especially when what you really want is to let everyone pick a favorite pumpkin and grab a few cute fall pictures along the way.
Because church pumpkin patches can change dates and hours from year to year, check the listing for current details before making a special trip.
Make a Day of It
If you’re willing to drive a little farther from Tallahassee, the bigger farms are usually the way to go. Aunt Louise’s in Monticello and Spring Hill in Bainbridge combine pumpkins with enough activities to turn the trip into an actual fall day out instead of a 20-minute pumpkin-shopping stop.
If you just want a pumpkin, some pictures and a little fall atmosphere without spending half the day doing it, keep an eye on the seasonal church patches closer to Tallahassee.
And remember: North Florida fall weather has a mind of its own. Wear shoes you don’t mind getting dirty, bring sunscreen and water, and check the weather and the farm’s current hours before driving out.
