One of Tallahassee’s biggest annual celebrations returns to downtown Tallahassee on April 2–3, 2027!

Springtime Tallahassee brings together a free Friday-night concert, the Grand Parade, arts and crafts, food vendors, children’s activities and live entertainment throughout the Downtown Chain of Parks.

Here’s what you need to know before heading downtown for the 2027 Springtime Tallahassee Festival.

Friday Night Music Festival

Kleman Plaza
Beer Garden opens at 5:30 p.m.
Live music begins at 6 p.m.

Springtime Tallahassee weekend begins Friday evening with a free outdoor concert at Kleman Plaza. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.

The 2027 headlining performer is expected to be announced in February. Arrive early if you want a good spot because the plaza can fill up quickly.

Springtime Tallahassee Grand Parade

Monroe Street in downtown Tallahassee

The Grand Parade is one of the highlights of the weekend, with colorful floats, marching bands, dance groups, local organizations and Springtime Tallahassee’s historic krewes traveling through downtown.

Popular viewing areas fill up early, so plan to arrive well before the 10:30 a.m. start time. Bring folding chairs, water and sunscreen if you plan to watch from along the parade route.

Jubilee in the Park

Saturday, April 3, 2027
9 a.m.–5 p.m.
Downtown Chain of Parks

Jubilee in the Park features arts and crafts vendors, handmade goods, food, community exhibits and entertainment throughout the day.

Visitors can explore booths from local, regional and national vendors while enjoying festival favorites such as grilled corn, kettle corn, Greek specialties and other food-truck and fair-style treats.

Children’s Park

The Children’s Park offers family-friendly activities and recreation for children of different ages. This area is designated as a tobacco-free zone.

Live Entertainment

Live music, dance groups and community performers will appear at several locations throughout the Chain of Parks. The complete 2027 entertainment schedule will be released closer to the festival.

Springtime Tallahassee Parking

Several downtown parking garages are expected to be available during the festival. Parking in the Kleman Plaza garage is currently listed at $5 on Friday and $5 on Saturday, with access from Bronough Street.

Accessible parking is available on North Calhoun Street and on East Park Avenue between Calhoun and Gadsden streets.

Because downtown streets close for the parade and festival, allow extra time to park and walk to the event.

Tips Before You Go

Arrive early for both the concert and parade.
Bring sunscreen, water and comfortable walking shoes.
Carry some cash in case a vendor does not accept cards.
Check the weather before leaving home.
Review the festival parking map before heading downtown.
Keep pets leashed and clean up after them.
