Free Fall Seeds at Local Libraries – Grab Yours!
Gardeners in Leon County can pick up FREE vegetable and herb seeds through the LeRoy Collins Leon County Public Library System’s Seed Library Program!
The Fall 2026 Seed Library began August 1, 2026, and seeds are still available at participating library branches while supplies last. Library cardholders can receive up to five seed packets per month. Those without a library card can receive up to three packets per month.
The seeds are completely free and do not need to be returned. Just choose your varieties, take them home and start growing!
Fall 2026 Seed Varieties
The following varieties are available while supplies last:
- Cylindra Beet
- Early Purple Broccoli
- Cosmic Purple Carrot
- Slow Bolt Cilantro
- Giant Champion Collards
- Early White Vienna Kohlrabi
- Gourmet Mixture Lettuce
- Komatsuna Mustard Green
- Fiesta Blend Radish
- Peppermint Swiss Chard
