Tallahassee has a lot of great family-friendly restaurants where “fine dining” just means you don’t have to cook!
Whether you need a game room to keep them busy or a garden to explore, here is our list of the top spots for kids in the 850. Make sure to check out our Kids Eat Free list!
Games & Entertainment
The Ultimate Neighborhood Hub: Beef ‘O’ Brady’s is the classic family sports pub. It’s relaxed, loud enough that you don’t have to worry about the kids, and always welcoming to local families.
Pizza & Play: Red Elephant is a Tally staple for a reason. Between the great game room and the elephant-themed decor, kids stay entertained.
💡 MONEY HACK: Kids eat free on Tuesdays with the purchase of an adult meal!
Unique Experiences & Play
The Gold Standard: Chick-fil-A is a lifesaver for Tally parents. With great indoor play areas and the option to trade a kids’ meal toy for ice cream, it’s always a win. If they aren’t too busy, the staff often goes the extra mile to let kids see how the ice cream is made! Keep an eye out for the Cow on weekends.
Locations: Various spots throughout Tallahassee.
Farm-to-Table Fun: Backwoods Crossing offers a unique “Garden to Glass” experience. When the weather is nice, ask for a table in the garden—it’s a wonderful way for kids to see where their food actually comes from while they eat.
Pizza as Big as Your Head: Momo’s has a super relaxed atmosphere and a great patio. Kids love watching the staff hand-toss the massive pizzas from scratch. There’s a reason they’ve been voted “Best Pizza” in town since 2009!
