The Carrabelle Riverfront Festival is this Saturday, April 25th — and it’s one of those perfect Florida days out that doesn’t cost you a thing!
The Annual Carrabelle Riverfront Festival takes place along the beautiful historic Carrabelle waterfront from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is completely free and the event is pet friendly, so bring the whole family — fur babies included.
This year’s festival is packed with something for everyone. Live music, a car show featuring classic, vintage, and custom vehicles, arts and craft vendors, and enough food to make you loosen your belt — we’re talking shrimp, conch fritters, grouper, mullet, snapper, kettle corn, funnel cakes, empanadas, gyros, shaved ice, gourmet lemonades, donuts, and lattes. Yeah, you’re going to want to come hungry.
For the kids, there are mini-train rides, a bouncy house, and a kids’ craft activity station. Families can also catch a special appearance by Merlissa the Mermaid, and the Salty Seahawks Competitive Cheer Team will be performing as well.
The car show runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at George Sands Park, hosted by Curfew Masonic Lodge #73. Educational exhibitors including the Camp Gordon Johnston WWII Museum, Crooked River Lighthouse, and Tate’s Hell State Forest will also be on site.
Carrabelle is just about an hour south of Tallahassee — an easy and beautiful drive down. Make a day of it!
