Havana PumpkinFest Is Back! Here’s What’s Happening in 2026
Looking for an easy fall day trip from Tallahassee? Havana PumpkinFest is returning to downtown Havana on Saturday, October 10, 2026, with a full day of fall activities, food, shopping and entertainment.
The festival runs from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM and stretches through the streets of downtown Havana. It’s one of Havana’s biggest family festivals of the year and a fun excuse to spend a fall Saturday exploring this little town just north of Tallahassee.
What to Expect at Havana PumpkinFest
There’s a lot more happening than just pumpkins! Havana PumpkinFest brings together activities for the kids, contests, entertainment, local shopping and plenty of food.
Families can enjoy pumpkin painting, children’s activities, a pie-eating contest and a costume contest. There will also be music and entertainment throughout the day, along with more than 100 vendors.
Come hungry, too. Food vendors will be set up during the festival, and downtown Havana has plenty of local restaurants, coffee shops and ice cream spots to check out while you’re there.

Feeling creative? PumpkinFest is also hosting a Scarecrow Contest, and it’s completely free to enter.
The contest is open to all ages, organizations and businesses, so families, groups and local businesses can all get in on the fun. Create your own scarecrow, let your imagination run wild and you could even take home a prize.

One of the best things about PumpkinFest is that you can turn it into a full afternoon in Havana. Once you’ve checked out the festival, spend some time wandering through downtown’s locally owned shops, antique stores and restaurants.
