Making Light Academy’s tutoring program is designed to support learning of kids of all abilities — as well as their passion for the performing arts. Our hybrid virtual and in-person program allows parents to choose whether to send their students to classes in person or participate — alongside their peers — virtually in the same classes as in-person students.

OUR TUTORING DAY:
Our tutoring program covers reading, writing, math, science, civics/government, and Spanish language instruction — all centered around the performing arts. While students craft their own scripts, they are learning the fundamentals of grammar and writing. Group songs reinforce their study of Spanish and teach them about poetic structure in song writing. One project included making stop motion animation films to explain the life cycle of a plant. We offer both full day and half day programs.
