About Kalon Christian Counseling:
Kalon Christian Counseling utilizes a counseling approach that is relational, narrative, and holistic. Grounded in the belief that people are created in God’s image, effective counseling will seek to address the entire person and will consider their unique context and address the distinctive physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and relational needs of each person. Our goal in counseling is to guide individuals, couples, and families towards wholeness by creating an environment for optimal growth.
Through the counseling relationship and process, people begin to identify where they have built a life apart from God and are called to an authentic relationship with Him and with others. As people personally engage with the relational and spiritual dynamics that drive their feelings and behavior, they come to know themselves and God in a way that brings healing and true freedom. Our hope and passion is that people will be drawn into a deeper relationship and union with Christ and will ultimately begin to live out of the reality of God’s Larger Story empowering them to love God, themselves, and others well.
