It is completely “normal” for families to struggle with internal and external stresses, growing pains, and differing expectations between individual and family goals. Family/Parent-child counseling is provided to individuals and families who desire to strengthen their relationships, restore the emotional connection, rebuild trust, or improve communication and conflict resolution. The goal of family/parent-child counseling is not to place “blame” on any one particular person in the relationship or family. Instead, we will work to gain a mutual understanding and respect between everyone so that the relationship can grow and thrive. Marriage and family therapists, like myself, feel completely comfortable with multiple family members in the therapy room, so all are welcome who want to invest in the process.
