It is a summer of savings in the state of Florida! Several sales tax holidays begin Friday, July 1st. The list of sales tax holidays includes:
Freedom Week: Fishing, boating, camping, sports, pool, and general outdoor supplies as well as a variety of entertainment tickets may be subject to tax exemptions from July 1-7.
Back to School: Consumers can purchase qualifying back-to-school supplies exempt from tax during the 2022 Back-to-School Sales Tax Holiday. The sales tax holiday begins Monday, July 25 and extends through Sunday, August 7.
ENERGY STAR Appliances: Washing machines, dryers, water heaters, and refrigerators/freezers may be subject to tax exemptions from July 1, 2022-June 30, 2023.
Children’s Diapers and Clothing: Baby and toddler clothing, apparel, shoes, and diapers are tax-exempt from July 1, 2022-June 30, 2023.
Home Hardening: Impact-resistant doors, garage doors, and windows are tax-exempt from July 1, 2022-June 30, 2024
